Awards
The Annual General Body Meeting held on 15.10.2022 and Executive Committee meeting of the Entomological Society of India(ESI) held on 31 st March 2023 approved the introduction of ESI Best Teacher award in addition to existing awards viz., ESI Young Entomologist Award, ESI Senior Entomologist Award and ESI Best Ph.D. thesis Award to encourage, recognize and promote the outstanding contribution of Entomologists in the country. Every year three young entomologists, two senior entomologists, two best teachers and three Best Ph.D. thesis will be awarded. Each award carrying a cash prize, a certificate with citation.
These award lectures are presented in a webinar series or in a society meeting.
